Sunday at the Beach!

Happy Sunday! We decided to explore Hilton Head Island a little this beautiful Sunday AM on vacation in search of a contemporary worship service. We found just that at Providence Presbyterian Church. It’s hard to compare to our beloved worship leaders Jay & Abby, but in their absence, the worship leader and band did a pretty good job.

No real deep thoughts for this Sunday. The scripture the pastor preached on was Romans 5:1-5 on hope and spreading the good news of God to people far and wide.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Romans 5:1-5

They also showed a brief video titled The Story of Pentacost that I really enjoyed and wanted to share here (in place of my usual song!) Enjoy!

Happy Sunday, and blessings to you for a great week!
